Celebrating India’s Finest Teas with Tata Tea 1868
Limited edition blends from Tata Global Beverages to commemorate 150 years of the Tata group

The year 1868 is special to all of us at the Tata group - it was the year the group was founded and this year we celebrate its milestone 150th year. The foresight, courage and transformative impact of this multihued business institution has touched the lives of millions through business and community work.

At Tata Global Beverages, we are celebrating the Tata legacy, befittingly, with the signature of Indian hospitality – Chai.

Introducing Tata Tea 1868- a limited edition collection of specially curated tea blends poised to spark many moments of magic for discerning consumers. This exclusive collection was unveiled at the Tata kiosk at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland in January 2018. The teas were served at the WEF, gifted to delegates attending the Tata reception and have received excellent feedback.

Combining India’s largest packaged tea brand with the year the group was founded, the Tata Tea 1868 range brings you three blends of premium and differentiated Indian teas as a celebration of our unique diversity and tea drinking culture.

Find out more on the individual blends below:

Organic Hathikuli

A robust, full-bodied orthodox whole leaf black tea sourced from the 100% organic Hathikuli tea estate which means ‘frequented by elephants’. This black tea captures the best of Assam with its bold, earthy character and unrestrained mountain wilderness.

An exotic blend of green tea and spices (cinnamon, cardamom, rose petals) typically brewed in brass kettles called ‘Samovars.’ The mild infusion of subtle spice flavours is best enjoyed with saffron strands and almonds.

Masala Chai

This sensory medley of black tea and spices (cardamom, cinnamon, clove, ginger, pink pepper) is the eternal comfort drink to most Indians. With sweet and spicy notes to surprise the taste buds this blend is loaded with tantalizing flavour and aroma.

Prices INR 500 for a gift box (one gift box contains 50g of one tea blend).

Orders are now open to only Tata companies through institutional sales until 28 February 2018.
